The Captain playbook

Getting a school onto Kaddy is a three-week job that mostly happens in week one. Here's the order that works.

Before you tell anyone

• Seed your school first. Set up your real schedule, add your teachers, and make 2–3 flashcard decks for units people are actually studying. The first classmate who joins should find the school alive, not empty.
• Set up your own profile — streak going, a few assignments in. You're the demo.

The 2-minute pitch (steal this)

"You know how you never know what's due until it's too late? This app pulls in all my classes — it literally tells me what I need on the final to keep my grade. And when our class is on it we can see the class leaderboard. Scan this, it takes like a minute."

Week one

• Class group chats beat everything. Drop your class invite link (in Kaddy: your class → share) into each class's group chat — it lands people directly in that class next to their classmates.
• Five friends in person first. Sit with them while they set up. They become the next wave's reason to join.
• Put the poster up where phones are already out: near the lunch line, the library, club boards.

Club fair / table day

• Bring this poster, your phone showing your own Kaddy, and nothing else. Let people scan while you talk.
• The one line that works at a table: "what do you need on your next final? I can tell you in ten seconds." Then show the grade calculator with their numbers.
