What is Kaddy?
A study companion that tracks your classes and assignments, remembers how each teacher grades so you can tailor your work to them, and gives you AI-powered study help — a chat tutor, flashcards, and quizzes generated from your own notes.
How do I add a class or assignment?
Open the Study tab and tap Add assignment for a single item, or add a class first from your Profile if you want to track a whole subject (grade, teacher, and assignments together).
Can I import my classes from Google Classroom?
Yes — connect it from Settings. Note that while Google is still reviewing Kaddy's Classroom access, only accounts we've added as test users can connect it; this is a temporary Google-side restriction; if you hit it, reach out and we'll add you.
I forgot my password. Now what?
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email or username. If an account matches, you'll get a reset link by email.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes, where enabled — look for the Google button on the login screen. Your email/password and Google sign-in both lead to the same kind of account.
How do I change my username, email, or password?
Username and email can be changed from your Profile. Password changes live in Settings → Account.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. This is permanent — it removes your account and the data tied to it. You can also download a copy of your data first from Settings → Data & Legal.
What can the AI chat tutor help with?
Homework questions, explaining a concept a different way, planning how to tackle an assignment, and draft feedback on your work. It's a study aid, not a substitute for doing the work yourself — see the Terms of Service on academic integrity.
How do flashcards and quizzes work?
Open the Tools tab, describe what you're studying (or paste your notes), and the AI generates a deck or quiz from it. Flashcards track your review progress over time.
What are AI credits, and why did I run out?
Every AI action (a chat reply, a flashcard deck, a quiz, extracting an assignment from a photo) costs a small number of credits, and your weekly allowance depends on your plan. Credits refresh on a rolling 7-day basis — check your remaining balance any time in Settings → Plan & Billing.
Is the AI always right?
No — treat it like a knowledgeable study partner, not a textbook. Double-check anything important (especially graded work) against your teacher or class materials.
How does the grade calculator work?
Add your grade categories and their weights on a class, and it keeps a running grade as you fill in scores. The "what do I need" tool then works backward from a target grade to tell you what score you'd need on a remaining category (like a final) to hit it.
What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Bloomer?
Free has weekly limits on AI credits and caps on classes/active assignments. Pro raises those limits significantly. Bloomer, the top tier, gives the highest AI credit allowance and the best-quality model on every AI action (Pro uses a faster model for everyday chat to stretch its credits further). Exact numbers are always shown live in Settings → Plan & Billing.
How do I upgrade or manage my subscription?
Settings → Plan & Billing — where paid plans are available, you'll see Upgrade buttons there; once subscribed, the same screen has a Manage billing button for changing or canceling your plan.
I don't see an Upgrade button — why?
Paid billing is still being rolled out in some deployments. If it isn't live yet, you'll see a Join Pro waitlist button instead — we'll let you know when it's ready.
Someone sent me an inappropriate message. What do I do?
Press and hold (or long-press) the message and choose Report. You can also block that person from their profile. Reported messages go to a review queue.
Who can see my teacher comments?
Other students at the same school, as a shared reference for what a teacher's class is actually like. Keep comments factual and non-personal — see the Terms of Service for the full ground rules.
Where's the Privacy Policy?
Right here: Privacy Policy. It covers what we collect and how it's used.
I installed the app on my home screen and it looks out of date.
Kaddy checks for updates automatically and shows an Update available banner when a new version is ready — tap it to refresh. If you don't see one, fully close and reopen the app; that alone often triggers the check.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check that notifications are allowed for Kaddy in your device's system settings, and that they're turned on in Settings → Notifications in the app itself — both need to be on.
Is Kaddy working right now?
Check the live status page.
Still stuck?
Use the feedback form in Settings → About & Feedback, or email intellibloomapp@gmail.com — that reaches a real person, not a bot.
