These terms govern your use of Kaddy (the "app," "service"), made by IntelliBloom ("we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you're under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Kaddy helps students track classes and assignments, connect with classmates, browse a shared directory of teachers, and use AI-powered study tools like a chat assistant, flashcard generator, and quiz generator.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Kaddy account. We ask for your birthdate at signup to enforce this. If you're between 13 and 17, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
To keep Kaddy safe and useful for everyone, don't:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You own the content you create in Kaddy (messages, assignment notes, teacher comments, etc.). By posting it, you give us permission to store and display it as needed to operate the app — for example, showing your message to the person you sent it to, or your teacher comment to other students at your school. See the Privacy Policy for how your information is used and who it's shared with.
The AI chat assistant, flashcard generator, and quiz generator are powered by a third-party AI model and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Use your own judgment, and check important information (especially anything graded) against a trusted source like your teacher or textbook. Some AI features are limited based on your plan (see below).
Kaddy offers a Free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Bloomer. Free accounts have limits on AI usage, classes, and assignments, described in the app. Pro and Bloomer raise those limits and unlock additional features; what each plan includes, and its current price, is shown on the Plan & Billing screen before you buy.
Free trial. A new account may receive a limited-time trial of Pro features after verifying its email address. The trial's length is shown in the app. When it ends, the account returns to the Free plan; nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
Auto-renewal. Pro and Bloomer are auto-renewing subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Where you are billed. Subscriptions bought on the web are billed by Stripe and managed from Plan & Billing. Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are billed by Apple through your Apple ID and managed in your device's App Store subscription settings; Apple's terms and refund policy apply to those purchases. A subscription bought in one place works everywhere you use Kaddy.
Price changes. If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. Prices may differ between the web and the App Store.
School Captain perks. Free plan upgrades granted through the School Captain program are not subscriptions: they are applied and removed automatically as the program's conditions are met, and carry no charge.
Connecting Google Classroom is optional and is also subject to Google's own terms of service. You can disconnect it at any time from Settings.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users.
Kaddy is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IntelliBloom isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
